Cincinnati, OH - U.S. Marshal Pete Tobin is pleased to announce during the early-morning hours of Feb. 11, 2021, the U.S. Marshals Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Fugitive Unit arrested fugitive Kevin Coes on an outstanding warrant from Hamilton County for two counts of Murder.
On Nov. 1, 2019, Coes was allegedly involved in a robbery at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Sycamore Township. During the robbery a shootout occurred, and two male victims were struck by unfire. The victims succumbed to their wounds. HCSO investigators filed an arrest warrant for Coes. The U.S. Marshals SOFAST in Cincinnati, OH, together with the HCSO Fugitive Unit, developed information that Coes was in the 3200 block of Glenmore Avenue in Cincinnati, OH, and quickly arrested Coes without incident.
Coes is currently in custody at the Hamilton County Jail.
