Fugitive Wanted on Multiple Counts of Drug Distribution Apprehended by U.S. Marshals

Martinsburg, WV - On Nov. 19, 2021, members of the U.S. Marshals Mountain State Fugitive Task Force, Capital Area Fugitive Task Force, Hagerstown PD, and Wasington County Sheriff’s Office, arrested Marcus Longus, 27, of Hagerstown, MD. Longus was one of thirty-four people indicted in a 30 count indictment involving a drug trafficking conspiracy distributing large amounts of heroin, fentanyl, cocaine base and cocaine from Hagerstown into West Virginia.

The U.S. Marshals Mountain State Fugitive Task Force developed information Marcus Longus had returned from New York to the Hagerstown, Maryland area and may be staying in area hotels. Officers were able to establish Longus was staying at the Sleep Inn located in Hagerstown, Maryland. Marcus Longus was arrested in the parking lot without incident.

“The Marshals Service and members of the Fugitive Task Force are dilgent in its fugitive investigations and this arrest exemplifies the constant and steady teamwork of our state and local partners, this teamwork enabled us to remove a dangerous criminal from the streets" said Acting U.S. Marshal Terry Moore.

Lenin Luna-Mota, 48, of Hagerstown, MD and Domincan Republic

Samuel Rose known also as “Black Sam", 48, of Martinsburg, WV

Chelsea Pinkcett, 33,of Martinsburg, WV

Devron Brown known also as “Country", 33, of Martinsburg, WV

Carlos Nunez-Arias known also as “Charlote", 51, of Hagerstown, MD

The U.S. Marshals Mountain State Fugitive Task Force consists of members from the West Virginia State Police, Martinsburg Police Department, Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, Charles Town Police Department, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, West Virginia Department of Corrections, and Shepherdstown Police Department.
