State Department discusses Determination Under Section 506(a)(1) of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 To Provide Military Assistance to Ukraine on March 31

The US State Department published a one page notice on March 31, according to the U.S. Government Publishing Office.

The notice is focused on Determination Under Section 506(a)(1) of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 To Provide Military Assistance to Ukraine.

The State Department is responsibly for international relations with a budget of more than $50 billion. Tenure at the State Dept. is increasingly tenuous and it's seen as an extension of the President's will, ambitions and flaws.

Notices are required documents detailing rules and regulations being proposed by each federal department. This allows the public to see what issues legislators and federal departments are focusing on.

Any person or organization can comment on the proposed rules. Departments and agencies must then address “significant issues raised in comments and discuss any changes made,” the Federal Register says.
