One of President Joe Biden's top campaign bundlers was confirmed by the U.S. Senate and sworn in as Ambassador to Belgium in December 2021, the embassy reported.
Ambassador Michael M. Adler raised more than $100,000 for Biden's presidential campaign and affiliated political committees, Business.com reported.
“Honored to have joined Prime Minister @alexanderdecroo in welcoming @POTUS Biden back to Brussels at a critical time for the Transatlantic partnership as we respond to Putin’s unjustified invasion of Ukraine,” Adler said March 30, according to his official Twitter account.
Adler reportedly played a major role in South Florida’s growth as a major center for international trade, according to the U.S. Embassy to Belgium. The Adler Group Inc., a real estate firm covering markets from South Florida to Texas and the Mid-Atlantic, works in development, general contracting, real estate brokerage, leasing and property management. It was formed in 1978.
Adler has served as chairman of Mount Sinai Medical Center’s Board of Trustees and vice chairman of Florida International University’s Board of Trustees, and other charities, nonprofits higher education institutions and Jewish advocacy groups, according to the embassy.
He professes to be a proud Miami Hurricanes athletics supporter in addition to being a loving husband, father and grandfather. He graduated from the University of Miami in 1973 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, the embassy reported.
