(Washington, D.C.) - Senator Patty Murray (D-WA), Ranking Member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee, today issued the following statement on the updated Congressional Budget Office (CBO) score of the House Republican Trumpcare bill:
“CBO has yet again confirmed that Trumpcare would be an absolute disaster, and yet Republican leaders are intent on pulling out all the stops and making this bill even more terrible to appease extreme House conservatives. The deeper Republican leaders dig for votes in the House, the more damaging Trumpcare will be for patients and families-and Republicans will be held fully accountable."
