Man Indicted After Search Warrant Uncovers 317 Pounds of Meth in Home

PHOENIX - Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced today that Camilo Urquiza Sanchez has been indicted on one count conspiracy, one count Illegally conducting an enterprise, and one count possession of a dangerous drug (methamphetamine) for sale.

On March 10, 2022, law enforcement served a search warrant at Sanchez’ home and located a total of 317 pounds of methamphetamine. The estimated value of the recovered drugs is $317,000.

The charges are based upon an investigation conducted by the Drug Enforcement Administration St. Louis Division, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, Peoria (Ariz.) Police Department, and Mesa (Ariz.) Police Department.

This case is being prosecuted by the Arizona Attorney General’s Office.

All defendants are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law.
