Committee on Energy and Natural Resources: Committee ordered favorably reported the nomination of Kathryn Huff, of Illinois, to be an Assistant Secretary of Energy (Nuclear Energy).

Committee on Energy and Natural Resources: Committee concluded a hearing to examine the nominations of David Applegate, of Pennsylvania, to be Director of the United States Geological Survey, and Carmen G. Cantor, of Puerto Rico, to be an Assistant Secretary, who was introduced by Representative Gonzalez-Colon, both of the Department of the Interior, and Evelyn Wang, of Massachusetts, to be Director of the Advanced Research Projects Agency-

Energy, Department of Energy, after the nominees testified and answered questions in their own behalf.
