The most recent press release, "First Complete Human Genome Poised to Strengthen Genetic Analysis, NIST Study Shows," was submitted on March 31.
The National Institute of Standards and Technology published nine press releases the month before, marking an 11.1 percent increase for the current month.
The Institute was created in response to the proliferation of inconsistent standards for weights and measures throughout the US.
One of its many accomplishments is the creation of an experimental quantum logic clock. It will neither gain nor lose a second in four billion years.
