Finance Committee Hearing to Focus on Health Care Priorities

Hearing: “Examining the Administration’s Fiscal Year 2004 Health Care Priorities"

Date/time: Thursday, Feb. 27, 2003, at 10 a.m.

Location: 215 Dirksen Senate Office Building, Washington, D.C.

Description: The Finance Committee, led by Sen. Chuck Grassley, chairman, will hold a hearing to hear testimony from Health and Human Services Secretary Tommy Thompson on the Bush administration’s health care priorities for Fiscal Year 2004. Many of the government’s health care programs, such as Medicare and Medicaid, fall under the Finance Committee’s jurisdiction. Thompson will be the sole witness.
