WASHINGTON - Senate Finance Committee Chairman Ron Wyden made the following statement after the Senate today confirmed Sylvia Mathews Burwell as Secretary of Health and Human Services:

As her record shows, Sylvia Mathews Burwell, will bring people together to find solutions. That’s exactly what the country needs from the next HHS secretary - an agent of bipartisanship.
