WASHINGTON - Senate Finance Committee Chairman Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) today announced a hearing to discuss early impressions of the new tax law. The hearing will take place on April 24, 2018, at 2:30 p.m., in 215 Dirksen Senate Office Building.
“We are just four months into our new, modernized tax system and we have already started to see tax reform’s benefits roll in - companies are investing their savings in America’s workforce, utility bills are dropping, and dollars that were locked out overseas are coming home," Hatch said. “But given that this was the largest tax rewrite in more than three decades, we still have work to do to support the new law’s implementation. This hearing will allow Finance Committee members to take a look at early impressions of the new tax code."
