Camp Statement on Rep. Linder’s Decision Not to Seek Reelection

Washington, DC - Today, Ways and Means Ranking Member Dave Camp (R-MI) released the following statement regarding the decision by Rep. John Linder (R-GA) not to seek reelection.

“John knows more about the issues that come before the committee than most of the expert witnesses we have testify. He is a fierce advocate for what he believes in and has been a tremendous asset to our team and to the nation. I look forward to continuing to work with John even after he leaves Congress."

NOTE: Rep. Linder is the lead Republican on the Ways and Means Subcommittee on Income Security and Family Support and also serves on the Oversight and Select Revenues Subcommittees.
