Chairman Neal Statement on Rep. Murphy’s Decision Not to Seek Reelection

SPRINGFIELD, MA- Today, Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard E. Neal (D-MA) released the following statement after Rep. Stephanie Murphy (D-FL) announced she will not seek reelection to the U.S. House of Representatives:

“I thank Congresswoman Murphy for her service on the Ways and Means Committee these past three years. She consistently stood by her principles and sought to deliver for Floridians. I appreciate her contributions in Congress and wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors."
