SPRINGFIELD, MA-Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard E. Neal (D-MA) released the following statement applauding the latest report of gross domestic product from Bureau of Economic Analysis:
“Under President Biden and congressional Democrats’ bold leadership, last year, our economy grew at the fastest rate in decades. This historic growth coupled with the creation of a record 6.4 million jobs shows that while we need to stay vigilant in our fight against this virus, we are on the right track. We can’t let this momentum pass us by and must continue our work in creating a sustainable, equitable economy that will benefit all Americans."
