Foreign Affairs Committee to Convene Wednesday Hearing on Syria

Today, U.S. Rep. Ed Royce (R-CA), Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, announced that on Wednesday, September 4, he will convene a hearing to discuss the Obama Administration’s response to the crisis in Syria, including the President’s request for an Authorization for Use of Military Force.

Chairman Royce on the hearing: “The President’s proposed military response to the use of chemical weapons by the Syrian regime demands thorough and deliberate congressional consideration. This hearing will allow for the Administration to publicly make its case and explain its plans to Congress and the American people."
