Washington, D.C. - House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Ed Royce (R-CA) and Ranking Member Eliot Engel (D-NY), released the following statement after the House passed H. Res. 524, a bipartisan resolution they introduced, which condemns the recent terror attacks in Paris that claimed 129 lives.

“This resolution condemns, in the strongest terms, the horrific attacks in Paris. And it makes clear that this cowardly act of terrorism reaffirms our commitment to defeating ISIS and its affiliates, which pose a growing threat to international peace and stability.

“We stand in solidarity with France - our oldest ally - during this difficult time.".
