Washington, D.C. - House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Ed Royce (R-CA) released the following statement after hosting a meeting with Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir.
“It is always good to welcome Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir to the United States Capitol. Today we discussed the important and historic U.S.-Saudi relationship, and the shared threats we face from Iran, ISIS and the catastrophe in Syria. We also talked about the need for greater cooperation to combat terrorist financing. I appreciate Saudi Arabia’s commitment to being a part of the solution to the crisis in Syria, and I look forward to continuing our discussions on these critical issues.".
