“We believe that Serbia's abuse of the Interpol Red Notice system leading to the detention of Ramush Haradinaj is outrageous. We urge France to expeditiously process the case and return him to his home in Kosovo as soon as possible.
“The United States and the European Union must hold Serbia accountable for its abuse of Interpol. In Europe, Serbia's accession process must be halted until it continues with its obligation to normalize relations with Kosovo. Likewise, the United States should let Belgrade know that relations will suffer unless it returns to a constructive path.".
