Washington, D.C. - Tomorrow at 10 a.m., House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Ed Royce (R-CA) will convene a hearing entitled “Democracy Promotion in a Challenging World."
Chairman Royce on the hearing: “From Turkey to Cambodia, democratic institutions around the world are under siege. That is why the U.S. is supporting innovative programs to address this disturbing trend. Promoting democracy is both a moral and strategic imperative for the United States.
