Jazz Ambassadors to perform at Little Rock Central High School NHS

Join the Jazz Ambassadors in Little Rock, Arkansas to hear the military's finest practitioners of jazz and swing. The Army's official touring big band, this 19-member jazz ensemble has received widespread acclaim at home and abroad, earning the Jazz Ambassadors the title, "America's Big Band."

This special concert is free, open to the public and will be hosted outdoors on the grounds at Little Rock Central High School NHS on Friday, June 24 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.; this event is part of the Jazz Ambassadors Summer Tour 2022.

Performances by the Jazz Ambassadors offer some of the most versatile programming of any big band. Concerts include classic big band standards, instrumental and vocal solo features, patriotic favorites, contemporary jazz works, and original arrangements and compositions by past and present members of the Jazz Ambassadors.

The Jazz Ambassadors have performed in all 50 states, Canada, Mexico, Japan, India, and Europe, and in joint concerts with the Boston Pops, National Symphony, Pittsburgh Symphony, Seattle Symphony, and at Carnegie Hall with Erich Kunzel and the Cincinnati Pops.
