Bill H.R.8037 titled “To amend the Homeland Security Act of 2002 to provide eligibility to elementary and secondary schools for certain security grants for target hardening and other security enhancements to protect against terrorist attacks, and for other purposes” was referred to the Committee on Homeland Security and in addition to the Committee on Education and Labor for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned by the House of Representatives.
