Richmond, VA - The U.S. Marshals are confirming that the fourth and final escapee, Lamonte Willis, is now in custody.
Willis surrendered to U.S. Marshals and Federal Bureau of Prisons officials at the Federal Correctional Center Petersburg’s Medium Security Facility just after 10 a.m., Wednesday, without incident.

Investigators from the U.S. Marshals Service and the Federal Bureau of Prisons continue to investigate this matter and will relay their findings to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Richmond, Virginia," Kevin Connolly, Senior Inspector with the U.S. Marshals Capital Area Regional Area Fugitive Task Force.
On June 18, Willis and three other inmates, Corey Branch, Tavares Graham, and Kareem Shaw, walked away from a minimum-security facility in Hopewell, Virginia. The U.S. Marshals Service and local law enforcement were notified. Graham surrendered back to the facility on June 20th. Branch and Shaw surrendered on June 21. Willis, the fourth and last of the escapees, surrendered today.
