Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken spoke with Colombian Vice President and Foreign Minister Marta Lucía Ramírez to discuss the upcoming Migration Ministerial scheduled for October 20 in Bogotá, Colombia. Secretary Blinken thanked Vice President Ramírez for co-hosting the Migration Ministerial and for granting Temporary Protective Status to nearly two million Venezuelan migrants. The United States remains committed to working closely with vital partners such as Colombia to address the root causes of migration and to support safe, orderly, and humane migration management throughout our region.
