FAA Hosts Columbus, Ohio Airspace Improvement Workshops

The FAA is holding two workshops near Columbus, Ohio on Tuesday and Wednesday to explain proposed improvements to air traffic procedures in the area. The new air traffic procedures are part of the FAA’s airspace transformation to satellite-based navigation.

The new procedures will enable pilots to fly more direct routes, reducing fuel and emissions and saving time.

FAA officials will be available at the workshops to show the proposed improvements on maps of the area and take comments from the public. The workshops will be held at the following times and locations:

Tuesday, August 8, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
