Commercial Astronaut Wings Presentation

WASHINGTON, D.C. - To mark the historic and successful flight into space last year on Dec. 13 by Virgin Galactic, top U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) officials will present the crew of SpaceShipTwo with FAA Astronaut Wings.

The ceremony will include remarks from attending officials and a pinning of the Astronaut Wings on the pilots.

The FAA will livestream the event on Facebook and YouTube.
