Cheyenne Man Convicted For Attempted Online Enticement Of A Minor

U.S. Attorney Christopher A. Crofts announced today that Cheyenne resident David Faust has been convicted in federal court. A jury found Faust guilty of attempted online enticement of a minor for sexual purposes after a two-day jury trial in the U.S. District Court in Cheyenne. Faust is scheduled to be sentenced by Federal District Court Judge Johnson on Jan. 30, 2014. The investigation in this case was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, assisted by the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and Homeland Security Investigations.
