ROCHESTER, N.Y. - U.S. Attorney William J. Hochul, Jr. announced today that Derek Stanin, 21, of Rochester, NY, who was convicted of the robbery of the three Tops Marketplace stores, was sentenced to 51 months in prison by U.S. District Judge Elizabeth A. Wolford. The defendant was also ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $7,656.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Douglas E. Gregory, who handled the prosecution of the case, stated that on January 4, 2014, the defendant robbed the Tops Marketplace store at 3507 Mt.
