Norristown Resident Charged With Illegal Reentry After Deportation

Lamberto Lorenzo-Santos, a/k/a “Jose Hernandez-Santos," a/k/a “Alfredo Perez," 35, of Norristown, PA, was charged today by Indictment with illegal reentry after deportation, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger. The indictment alleges that on or about March 8, 2015, Lamberto-Santos, an alien, and native and citizen of Mexico, was found in the United States after having been deported from the United States on or about Jan. 13, 2005 and Sept. 19, 2006.

If convicted the defendant faces a maximum possible penalty of twenty years imprisonment, a three year period of supervised release, a $250,000 fine and a $100 special assessment.

The case was investigated by the Department of Homeland Security, Homeland Security Investigations (“HSI"), and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Linwood C. Wright, Jr.

An Indictment is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
