Perkasie Resident Charged With Illegal Reentry After Deportation

Rodrigo Pineda-Fernance, a/k/a “Jose Morales," a/k/a “Jose Cardona," 50, of Perkasie, PA, was charged today by Indictment with illegal reentry after deportation, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger. The Indictment alleges that on or about May 7, 2015, Pineda-Fernance, an alien, and native and citizen of Honduras, was found in the United States after having been deported from the United States on or about Jan. 29, 2010, May 24, 2013, and July 31, 2013.

If convicted the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of 10 years.

The case was investigated by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Enforcement and Removal Operations (“ERO"), and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Priya T. De Souza.

An Indictment is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
