Milford Man Pleads Guilty to Possessing Child Pornography

Bangor, Maine: United States Attorney Thomas E. Delahanty II announced that Anthony Parent, 22, of Milford, Maine, pled guilty today in U.S. District Court to possessing child pornography.

According to court records, from about Oct. 31, 2013 to about July 17, 2014, Parent kept images and videos of child pornography on his personal computer, uploaded them to online accounts, and used electronic mail services to trade child pornography with others.

He faces up to 20 years in prison, a $250,000 fine and between five years and a lifetime of supervised release. He will be sentenced after the completion of a presentence investigation report by the U.S. Probation Office.

The investigation was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
