PORTLAND, Ore. - The Office of the Inspector General for the U.S. Department of Justice, in consultation with the United State Attorney’s Office for the District of Oregon, is conducting an investigation regarding the actions of the FBI Hostage Rescue Team (HRT) in connection with the events on Jan. 26, 2016. Because the investigation is ongoing, there will be no further comment until the investigation is fully concluded.
