Bay St. Louis Man Pleads Guilty to Possession of Firearms

Gulfport, Miss - Russell Gene Clack, 35, of Bay St. Louis, pled guilty on Sept. 20, 2016 to possession of firearms by a convicted felon in a case involving the undercover purchase of four firearms, U. S. Attorney Gregory K. Davis announced today.

Clack will be sentenced by Chief U.S. District Judge Louis Guirola, Jr. on Dec. 13, 2016 and faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and $250,000 fine.

This case was investigated by Homeland Security Investigations, the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives. Assistant United States Attorney Annette Williams is prosecuting the case.
