Dominican Man Charged With Illegal Reentry After Deportation

Daniel Acosta-Domiguez, a.k.a. “Daniel Acosta," a.k.a. “Jonathan Amador-Alvarez," 33, of Philadelphia, PA, was charged today by Indictment1 with illegal reentry after deportation, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger. The indictment alleges that on or about Oct. 18, 2016, Jorge-Jimenez, an alien, and native and citizen of the Dominican Republic, was found in the United States after having been deported from the United States on or about May 21, 2013.

If convicted the defendant faces a maximum possible sentence of twenty years.

The case was investigated by Homeland Security Investigations (“HSI") and Enforcement and Removal Operations (“ERO") of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (“ICE"), and is being prosecuted by Special Assistant United States Attorney Josh A. Davison.
