Buffalo Man Pleads Guilty To Cocaine Charge

Assistant U.S. Attorney Laura A. Higgins, who is handling the case, stated that on Aug. 10, 2017, officers executed a federal search warrant at the defendant’s residence at 57 Roosevelt Avenue, after previously making three controlled buys of cocaine from the defendant. During the execution of the search warrant, officers recovered two packages of powder cocaine, $3,978 in cash, two digital scales with cocaine residue, a sifter with cocaine residue, and assorted ammunition.

The plea is the result of an investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration, under the direction of Special Agent-in-Charge James J. Hunt.

Sentencing is scheduled for May 7, 2018 before Judge Skretny.
