PITTSBURGH, PA. - A South Carolina resident has been sentenced in federal court to 30 months imprisonment followed by three years supervised release on his conviction of interstate stalking, United States Attorney Scott W. Brady announced today.
United States District Judge Nora Barry Fischer imposed the sentence on Dunlap, 30, of Clover, South Carolina.
According to information presented to the court, Dunlap placed false and fraudulent food delivery orders online, using the identity of other individuals, which placed the victim, a resident of Western Pennsylvania, under substantial emotional distress.
Assistant United States Attorney Robert S. Cessar prosecuted this case on behalf of the government.
United States Attorney Brady commended the United States Secret Service and United States Postal Inspection Service for the investigation leading to the successful prosecution of Dunlap.
