United States Attorney Ron Parsons announced that a Wanblee, South Dakota, man was acquitted of Aggravated Sexual Abuse and Sexual Abuse as a result of a federal jury trial in Pierre, South Dakota, beginning on Oct. 16, 2018, and concluding on Oct. 18, 2018.
Isadore John Conquering Bear, age 45, was indicted by a federal grand jury on Aug. 16, 2017.
The charge stemmed from an alleged incident that occurred in June, 2017, near Rosebud, South Dakota.
The investigation was conducted by the Rosebud Sioux Tribe Law Enforcement Services. The U.S. Attorney’s Office prosecuted the case.
