Matthew D. Krueger, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, announced that on Jan. 12, 2021, a federal grand jury returned a three-count indictment against Adam L. Lambrecht (age: 40) of the Two Rivers, Wisconsin.
The indictment alleges that Lambrecht distributed “actual" or “crystal" methamphetamine on three occasion between Aug. 25, 2020, and Sept. 10, 2020, contrary to Title 21, United States Code, Sections 841(a)(1) and 841(b)(1)(B).
Each charge carries a mandatory five years’ imprisonment and up to 40 years’ imprisonment on each count. He further faces fines of up to $5,000,000, and from four years to a lifetime on supervised release.
An indictment is only a charge and not evidence of guilt. The defendant is presumed innocent and is entitled to a fair trial at which the government must prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt
This case was investigated by the Manitowoc County MEG unit with the assistance of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration. It will be prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Daniel R. Humble.
