Reclamation Releases Environmental Document for the Upper Sacramento River Anadromous Fish Habitat Restoration Project

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation has released for public review the Environmental Assessment for the Upper Sacramento River Anadromous Fish Habitat Restoration Project.

The Project continues the work of improving spawning and rearing habitat for salmon and steelhead in the Sacramento River below Keswick Dam. This Project is one of many to help meet the requirements of the Central Valley Project Improvement Act, Section 3406 (b)(13), to restore and replenish spawning gravel and rearing habitat.
