SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation has released the Final Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact for the Upper Sacramento River Anadromous Fish Habitat Restoration Project.
The Project continues the work of improving spawning and rearing habitat for salmon and steelhead in the Sacramento River below Keswick Dam. This Project is one of many to help meet the requirements of the Central Valley Project Improvement Act, Section 3406 (b)(13), to restore and replenish spawning gravel and rearing habitat.
The Final EA and FONSI were prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act and are available at http://www.usbr.gov/mp/nepa/nepa_project_details.php?Project_ID=23758.
