SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation has released the Final Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact for the Agreement for Reimbursement of Groundwater Pumping Costs for Gray Lodge Wildlife Area between the United States and the State of California.
The agreement would reimburse the California Department of Fish and Wildlife for costs associated with pumping groundwater as part of Level 4 water supplies for its Gray Lodge Wildlife Area near Gridley. The term of the reimbursement agreement would cover water years 2016 through 2030. The Central Valley Project Improvement Act authorizes Reclamation to sign the agreement and implement the proposed action.
