Bureau of Reclamation releases decision for Washington County Water Conservancy District WaterSMART Small-Scale Water Efficiency Projects Grant

Boulder City, Nev. - The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) today released a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) decision for the final Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Washington County Water Conservancy District (WCWCD) WaterSMART Small-Scale Water Efficiency Projects. Reclamation’s action is the approval of grant funds to WCWCD for incentives for water efficiency in Washington County, Utah.

The EA details the proposal to approve grant funds for customer rebates to upgrade irrigation systems with water saving devices and for the installation of water savings devices in commercial, industrial, and institutional settings.

The FONSI and final EA were prepared in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act and are available on the Reclamation internet site at: http://www.usbr.gov/lc/region/g2000/envdocs.html.
