Reclamation releases final environmental documents on recycled water for San Luis National Wildlife Refuge

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Bureau of Reclamation has released the final Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact on a proposal to purchase up to 6,000 acre-feet of recycled water for the East Bear Creek Unit of the San Luis National Wildlife Refuge Complex.

Beginning this fall and under Central Valley Project Improvement Act authorization, Reclamation proposes to enter into a one-year agreement, with possible extensions up to five years, with Santa Rita Water, LLC.

The final EA and FONSI were prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act and are available at https://www.usbr.gov/mp/nepa/nepa_project_details.php?Project_ID=34601.
