“Our outdoor, guided walking tours are new this year," said Hungry Horse Hungry Horse Field Office Manager Bill Dykes. “Please remember tours are limited; sign up in advance to secure a spot. Tours will not be available from Aug. 2 to Aug. 13 due to crews inspecting a fixed wheel gate on top of the dam."
Hungry Horse Dam is located off Highway 2 in Hungry Horse, Mont. Directional signs located on Highway 2 indicate the road leading to the visitor center. From Highway 2 travel about 4.5 miles to the visitor center at the north end of the dam.
