FBI Announces Arrest Made in Connection with Two Bank Robberies

FBI Announces Arrest Made in Connection with Two Bank Robberies

The FBI announces the arrest of Ashley Cambridge, 27, for her alleged involvement in the June 21 robbery of a Suntrust Bank branch in Ft. Lauderdale and the June 16 robbery of a Spacecoast Bank branch in Miramar, Florida.

The arrest was made yesterday evening, without incident, by the Hollywood Police Department and the FBI’s South Florida Violent Crime Task Force (SFVCTF) in Hollywood, Florida.

Cambridge is in federal custody and is facing federal charges. Her initial appearance is expected to be today in Fort Lauderdale Federal Court.

The criminal complaint may be found in PACER in due course. No picture(s) are available.

Plantation Police Department, Miramar Police Department, Ft. Lauderdale Police Department, Hollywood Police Department, and FBI’s SFVCTF continue their investigation.
