FBI Investigating Detroit Public School Threat
The FBI is currently working with both the Detroit Police Department and the Detroit Public Schools Police Department regarding a threat received via fax yesterday at a Detroit public school. The FBI assesses there is no credibility to the threat that was directed toward the Detroit Public School system.
The FBI is coordinating with various local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies to investigate the incident along with notifying other school districts which may receive similar threats.
FBI Detroit and the Detroit Police Department take all threats seriously and will continue to work together to ensure the safety of our community.
