Robbery of Wells Fargo Bank Robbery in Dekalb County

George Crouch, acting special agent in charge, FBI Atlanta Field Office, along with Chief James W. Conroy, Dekalb County Police Department, requests the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the individual responsible for the Sept. 26, 2016 robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank in Dekalb County, Georgia.

On Sept. 26, 2016, at approximately 10:00 a.m., a lone black male entered the Wells Fargo Bank branch located at 1221 Columbia Drive in Decatur, Georgia and, after approaching the victim teller, announced a robbery. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of money, the robber departed the bank without further incident.

The robber is described as being a black male, 20-30 years in age, medium build, Rastafari-type hat, black jacket, and khaki pants.
