FBI Announces a Subject in Custody for a Coral Gables Bank Robbery

The FBI announces that Jorge L. Farah, 56, of Hialeah, Florida, is in custody for his alleged involvement in the July 7, 2017 robbery of the Marquis Bank branch at 355 Alhambra Circle, Coral Gables, Florida.

Farah is facing federal charges and is expected to make his initial appearance in federal court in Miami.

The Coral Gables Police Department, Hialeah Police Department, the South Florida Violent Crime Task Force, and the FBI continue their investigation.

No further information will be released at this time.
