FBI, Deming Police Investigate Bank Robbery

FBI, Deming Police Investigate Bank Robbery

The FBI and Deming Police Department are investigating a bank robbery that occurred Thursday morning.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6" tall, with a slim build. He wore a camouflage jacket and boonie hat. Further details will be provided when available.

At approximately 10:30 a.m., the suspect entered First Savings Bank, 520 S Gold Avenue in Deming, New Mexico.

He displayed a shotgun and demanded money from the teller, who handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect.

The suspect left the bank and got into a vehicle described as a white SUV that was last seen heading west.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at (505) 889-1300 or the Deming Police Department at (575) 546-3011.

Tips can also be submitted online at tips.fbi.gov.

The FBI may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
