Man Wearing College Baseball Cap Robs Albuquerque Bank, Flees on Bicycle

Man Wearing College Baseball Cap Robs Albuquerque Bank, Flees on Bicycle

A man wearing a brown or green University of New Mexico Lobos baseball cap fled on a bicycle after robbing an Albuquerque bank on Wednesday, July 26, 2017.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 40s or 50s, approximately 6' tall, with a slender or medium build. He had a mustache.

He wore sunglasses, a brown or green University of New Mexico Lobos baseball cap, a gray hooded sweatshirt with dark blue sleeves, and khaki pants. He carried a backpack.

At approximately 3:04 p.m., the suspect walked into the Wells Fargo bank, located at 1406 Bridge Blvd. SW.

He presented a demand note to a teller, who handed over an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect.

The suspect was last seen fleeing on a bicycle headed east on Bridge Boulevard.

Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to call the FBI at (505) 889-1300, or Albuquerque Metro Crime Stoppers, anonymously, at (505) 843-STOP.

The FBI may pay a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
