Law Enforcement Investigating Bank Robbery in Aurora, Colorado
The Aurora Police Department and FBI Rocky Mountain Safe Streets Task Force are investigating a bank robbery that occurred in Aurora, Colorado.

August 4, 2017, 11:52 a.m.
The suspect is described as a dark skinned white or Hispanic male, approximately 35 to 40 years of age, approximately 6’ tall, with brown hair, and a short beard. The suspect was seen wearing a black “Corona" baseball hat, black framed sunglasses, long sleeve black shirt, and light colored blue jeans.
The suspect demanded money from bank employees, received money, and fled the bank on foot in a northbound direction. There was no weapon seen and no one was injured.
Bank robbery is punishable by a 20-year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.
